The pathway to produce Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and other ‘Information Leaders’ is currently fragmented and
varied. With the need for CIOs and IT Directors to have ever broader skills to deliver the interdisciplinary nature
of their roles, this new, first of its kind, post-experience executive Masters course aims to meet that need.
The course focuses on the development of future Information Leaders: those with responsibility for the information functions in industry and government. The Masters of Information Leadership is designed to facilitate progression of mid-career information professionals to a leadership role and is lead by the interdisciplinary Centre for Information Leadership (CIL) in conjunction with a number of schools at City University London and current practitioners.
The launch event will include details of the Masters of Information Leadership and its benefits to aspiring information leaders and their employers.
Who should attend?
- Those considering applying for the Masters of Information Leadership, and their employers
- External stakeholders in the Information Leadership community, eg professional networks, industry bodies
