EGPR 2010

Host university: University of Ljubljana
Industrial partner 1: BSH, Nazarje
Task 1: Hand-held mixer for men
Industrial partner 2: Kolektor LIV, Postojna
Task 2: New toilet flushing system

Apart of the very first EGPR project in 2002, this was the only year in which two companies - BSH Nazarje and Kolektor LIV - provided the design task.

BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH is the largest manufacturer of home appliances in Europe and one of the leading companies in the sector worldwide. The basic activity of Kolektor LIV is the development, manufacturing and marketing of thermoplastic products.

The first design problem was formulated around designing a stick blender for men. The second was limited to designing an innovative plate for toilet flushing, but the students decided to expand their task towards designing an innovative flushing system.

There were six student teams from four universities participating in EGPR 2010 - three teams working on blender development and three on the new flushing systems for toilets.
