You can find out about services in your area by contacting the following agencies:

Find a Doctor/ GP

Find a GP near you on the NHS website. Check your local GPs opening times, services and facilities, performance measures, reviews and ratings.

Choose a doctor within walking distance and phone to check if they will take you on as a patient. If you are accepted you will be asked for your name, address, date of birth and for your medical card (if you have one).

Every GP service should have a leaflet which will tell you the surgery hours and types of services offered - e.g. contraception, smears, travel clinics, etc.
