Our Practical Digital Marketing course is ideal for professionals looking to develop a good understanding of digital marketing tools, tactics and techniques. The course combines theoretical knowledge with step-by-step guidance on delivering online marketing campaigns, which you will set up and evaluate in class.

Why choose this course?

A recent survey conducted by City, University of London, found that the biggest challenge for organisations today was the perceived 'digital skills gap' that exists in 'most' sales and marketing departments, including those of large corporate organisations. The Practical Digital Marketing course provides enhanced digital skills to traditional marketing professionals. For non-marketing professionals, it provides a useful overview of marketing strategy before diving into the practicalities and application of digital marketing tools, tactics and techniques.

Whether you intend to apply your digital skills to a large multi-national, SME or a StartUp, this marketing training course will deliver tools, tactics and techniques that will enable you to directly manage effective marketing communication across a variety of social, search, website, app and advertising channels.

Course overview

Whether you are a start-up business, established business or simply want to position your own personal online brand, you will need two things:

1. A strategy
2. The skills required to manage its delivery.

Our course in Practical Digital Marketing focuses on both the application of digital marketing techniques and the theory that underpins it. Teaching will take place in one of our computer labs so that you will be able to refer to online resources and practice using digital marketing platforms as part of your learning.

On completion of the course, you will have the practical knowledge and the key skill-set required to operate a multi-channel digital brand marketing strategy, in a broad and meaningful way.

You will learn the essential digital marketing skills that can be immediately applied within a business context to deliver against, either an existing brand marketing strategy brief or objectives for building your own 'personal brand', with digital channels.
