The Drupal Site Builder is a hands-on short course where students learn Drupal by building a full and comprehensive website.
Students must have successfully completed the Web Programming with PHP/MySQL Part 2 course or an equivalent course in PHP/MySQL skills and Building Websites with HTML5 and CSS3 or HTML authoring skills.
This practical course takes the form of a series of evening classes taking place once a week in our Central London location.
The Drupal Site Builder short course consists of learning Drupal by building a full website with news, events, blogs and users, using the principal modules and functionality of the CMS.
Students will be coached through all the steps until all the topics are covered, and the site is virtually deployed.
Students will also learn how to make decisions on which way a site will be built based on client needs.
By the end of the course students will be able to build content types, forms, taxonomy, manage users, modules, themes, deployments and maintenance of the site.
Applicants must be proficient in written and spoken English.
Informal assessment will take place through group discussion, class room activities, and questions and answers sessions as guided by your tutor.
