City, University of London is doing this study day in collaboration with Barts Health NHS trust.
This neonatal ventilation study is an interactive hands on study day is suitable for neonatal/paediatric trainees, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners or neonatal nurses who would like a theoretical and practical guide on current ventilation strategies in neonatal clinical practice. Senior nurses and doctors who want a refresher course on current practice of neonatal ventilation are encouraged to apply. The day will include a combination of lectures, scenario based workshops and hands on practical workshop. Lectures and workshops will be delivered by senior neonatal consultants.
Dr Vadivelam Murthy, Dr Michael Hird and Dr Caroline May are all consultants at Royal London Hospital with specialist interest in Neonatal Ventilation.
Betty Mathew is a Neonatal lecturer at City, and she currently leads the neonatal modules.
Excellent course,I really enjoyed it. Worked really well with a small group. Speaker were incredibly knowledgeable.
