This module will provide you with the background knowledge of personal, professional, ethical and legal issues relating medical imaging and advanced practice. The module content will be flexible to meet the needs of the rapidly changing health care agenda.

You will be expected to work independently and in groups to relate the content of the module to your clinical practice and evaluate the literature in relation to your practice and government/professional body directives and guidelines. The skills developed during this module will help to prepare you for advanced and consultant practice roles in your future career.

The module will provide you with knowledge of professional issues related to medical imaging and advanced practice, needed to undertake imaging examinations in order to reduce the impact on your own health and provide safe and effective care to clients, within legal and ethical frameworks.
