Clearing and Adjustment

Join us at City this September. Through the Clearing and Adjustment process, you can contact us to apply for any remaining places on our undergraduate courses starting in 2018.

If your grades aren’t what you were hoping for, you’ve changed your mind about where you want to study or you have made a UCAS application but don’t hold any offers, you can apply to City through Clearing. If your results are better than you expected, you can apply through Adjustment.

Our Clearing team will be on hand following the release of 'A' Level results on Thursday 16th August 2018 to assist you. Full details of availability will be published here before the process begins.

Don't miss out on your chance to study at City, where you'll find a buzzing campus in the heart of London and academics who are not only at the top of their fields, but also have excellent links with business and the professions. Everything we do is geared to help you hit the ground running when you graduate.

Applying before Clearing

Students who have not yet applied through UCAS this year are eligible to apply to City’s courses before Clearing opens. You must make your application through UCAS before 30th June 2018. After that date you will need to go through the Clearing process.

If you have applied through UCAS this year but don’t hold any offers, you may apply to a City course by adding it as an additional choice through UCAS Extra. You must add your choice on UCAS track before 4th July 2018. After that date you will need to go through the Clearing process.
