Am I ready for the Launch Lab?
The Launch Lab provides services for City student and graduate startups that are beyond the idea stage and have demonstrated considerable efforts to gain traction where possible ie revenue, product development, raising investment, gained followers/ pre sales. In order for applicants to gain most benefit from the services, meetups and support available we advise that applicants carefully consider what stage they are at and how they will gain the most from the programme.
Additionally, if you are an established company which has been trading successfully and is just looking for space then we would be happy to discuss these requirements and can direct you to our paid for services which include desk space, access to meeting rooms and mentors.
If you are still at the problem-solution fit or customer discovery phase of your startup journey, we advise that you consider participating in the other City services available which can be found here www.city.ac.uk/cityventures/start which will provide you with more useful tools and resources relevant to your business development.
How can we help?
We are here to support you and make sure you have everything you need to develop and grow. We will arrange regular catch-ups with you and our City Launch Lab Manager, Rebecca, to review your progress and help you stay on track. These catch-ups enable us to work with you to identify any additional areas of support you might need to reach your business goals.
Launch Lab Meetups
We hold a monthly meetup to help to the Launch Lab community stay connected and in touch with each other’s start-ups and start-downs. Residents have the chance to share their tips/ tricks and collectively help solve any challenges together. The session kicks off with a guest speaker and focuses on a specialist subject to get the conversation going, expect something different each month to ensure that we can learn and grow together.
For our monthly Friday Pitches our Launch Lab residents get a chance to practice and perfect their pitches with feedback from fellow residents as well as VIP guests.
