Why students attend

Students go to meet with human resources/recruitment staff as well as recent graduates who have joined your organisation, i.e. representatives who can give an insight into the job tasks, company culture and career paths you offer. On some occasions, students bring their CV and would like for you to check it to see what they need to do/complete in order to be considered for a position.

They also like to meet and network with City alumni, and we therefore welcome all City graduates currently working in your organisation to get involved in the fair.

Fair promotion

The fairs are advertised across campus a few weeks before the actual event date. Details of a fair are distributed through the Careers website, the main City website, targeted emails to students, CareersHub, our online careers portal for students and large posters around campus.
