The Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) is designed to help small, early-stage companies raise equity finance by offering tax reliefs to individual investors who purchase new shares in those companies in their earliest phase of development.

Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) which offers tax reliefs to investors in higher-risk, early-stage small companies, often after, or alongside an SEIS round.

The UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) is the national trade association representing angel and early stage investment. Angel investing is part of a £1.5 billion EIS investment market in the UK – the single largest source of early stage capital in this country.

The British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) is the industry body and public policy advocate for the private equity and venture capital industry in the UK.

Innovate UK is the UK's innovation agency. They work with people, companies and partner organisations to find and drive the science and technology innovations that will grow the UK economy.

The Patent Box enables companies to apply a lower rate of Corporation Tax to profits earned from its patented inventions and certain other innovations.

Research and Development (R&D) Corporation Tax Relief is a form of Corporation Tax relief that may reduce a company's tax bill.  Tax credits may also be received by means of a cash sum paid by HM Revenue and Customs.

Entrepreneurs Relief can reduce the amount of Capital Gains Tax made on disposal of qualifying business assets.

Passwords managers for teams – For teams who constantly need the amazon password try using a proper password manager like 1Password or lastpass

Loom – Great for feedback and demos for clients/ students / pet handlers - currently free for educators

Miro –  If you need to ideate or share ideas in one place, give Miro a go, its actually really good

Mental Health Foundation – access resources on looking after your mental health during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Mind: Coronavirus and your wellbeing – Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. You can access a whole host of resources and support via their website.
