Negotiations of stigma and identity amongst university students working in different areas of the sex industry in the UK
Jessica's thesis will look to explore how university students (in the socio-cultural and economic context of the UK), negotiate working in different areas of the sex industry in terms of identity and stigma management. While the focus will remain primarily on female students, one of the key aims of this research is to identify the role intersections of class, ethnicity, age and sexuality play in this context.
