City Food Symposium 2011

Where is UK food policy going?

The City Food Symposium 2011 highlighted the current gaps in UK food policy and provided a number of actions for the food industry, government and wider society towards ensuring access to sustainable, affordable and sufficient food for all - well into the future.

The all-day event on 13 December 2011, organised by the Centre for Food Policy at City with support from the Worshipful Company of Cooks (A Livery Company of the City of London), incorporated a number of high profile presentations from across the food supply chain and academia and highlighted problems and solutions from a range of perspectives.

Download the City Food Symposium briefing including summaries of presentations and discussions, the Centre for Food Policy's commentary on the event and its plans for taking the agenda forward.
