Overview and research interests
Ross is a part time member of the research group and an Honorary Visiting Lecturer in Organisational Psychology.
His research projects are:
- Effects of personal resilience training on city workers
- Teachers' well-being and work recovery.
He is interested in psychological well-being at work and psychological flexibility in leaders. He is also working with Paul Flaxman on the design and delivery of training to strengthen well-being and personal resilience for teachers and other working populations. The training is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which Ross also uses in his freelance coaching with private clients and training for a variety of organisations including the civil service, the NHS, a global bank and charities.
Ross has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Dundee, an MSc in Human Resource Management from the University of Surrey Business School and an MSc in Organisational Psychology from City, University of London. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (FCIPD)."
