PhD Title: The female voice and musical performance in Iranian films

Supervisors: Laudan Nooshin and Miguel Mera

Research interests and overview

This study charts the presence, absence and reappearance of the female voice and musical performance in Iranian films, set within the social and political context.

Research Interests

Ownership, investigation, dissemination, uses and abuses of culture and politics in the Middle East and North Africa, with a focus on Iran (Persia).
