City Summer Sounds
City Summer Sounds is our annual three-week music festival, open to all and free to attend. The festival celebrates the talented performers and composers from the City community, past and present, featuring students, staff and alumni.
This year, we will present world and UK premieres, chamber music masterpieces, orchestral, world and early music, unique collaborations and performances that break with the conventions of the usual concert experience, using video, theatre and new technology.
To coincide, our second annual Distinguished Lecture will be presented by the inspirational double bass player and founder of the Chineke! Foundation, Chi-chi Nwanoku OBE.
