School of Arts & Social Sciences Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme 2014/15

Scholarship opportunities will be available for UK/EU and international students looking to study postgraduate courses in the School of Arts & Social Sciences starting in September 2015. Further details will be published here shortly.

Scholarships worth up to £2,500 for September 2014 entry

The School of Arts & Social Sciences at City University London is committed to providing financial support to high-calibre students through its generous scholarship scheme. Applicants who meet our entry requirements will be automatically considered for a non-means tested scholarship as part of the application process.

These scholarships are worth up to £2,500. The scholarships apply to a selection of the Masters courses within the School of Arts & Social Sciences, which are listed below, and for programmes of study starting in September 2014. Please note that these scholarships will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

Terms and conditions

  • The value of the scholarship will take the form of fee waiver applied against the last payable instalment in any academic year.
  • Students repeating a course at City, University of London will not be eligible for a scholarship. (Students granted mitigating circumstances by the University will be considered on an individual basis).
  • Students who have previously received or are due to receive any payment from a City, University of London postgraduate scholarship, will not be eligible to apply for another scholarship to study a different course.
  • This scholarship scheme is not open to current or former City, University of London graduates applying for or in receipt of loyalty discounts.
  • The Scholarship may not be transferred to a different course in the University to the one applied for.
  • City, University of London reserves the right to change these terms and conditions (including the list of eligible courses and application criteria) without notice.

School of Arts & Social Sciences International Excellence Scholarships

International Excellence Scholarships are also available for international students who are passionate about the arts and social sciences and believe they can make a real difference to people's lives. There are up to 30 of these scholarships available worth £2,000 each which will be offered to applicants from non-EU countries who can demonstrate outstanding scholarly abilities.
