Travel information

London is wonderfully walk-able, as well as having a great public transport network to help you move around the City. Contactless cards can be used to pay for fares across Transport for London (TfL)'s network.

Travel discounts

When travelling to campus or elsewhere on public transport, don't forget to check which discounts you're eligible for as a student, including Oyster cards and Railcards.

You can also link your Oyster card and railcard, which saves you 1/3 on off-peak single travel pay as you go fares on the London Underground and Docklands Light Railway (DLR) services.

To link your railcard and oyster card, ask the clerk at your local ticket office or underground station to add your discount onto your Oyster card. Use your Oyster card at the ticket machines to start saving on off-peak fares. The discount will work for as long as your railcard is valid.
