4th Year PhD Student
Part time PhD student studying the information seeking behaviours of Law Students using mobile technologies, this includes the use of Smartphones, Tablets and hybrid technologies.
Have completed 4 rounds of research which has highlighted the need for better mobile-centric legal resources for students that will take into account the technological and physical limitations that portable devices have, whilst exploit many of the strengths that mobile technologies possess such as wireless printing, instant messaging and sharing of information with others as well as portable text, voice and video. Aiming to deliver a set of recommendations for legal resource vendors, law librarians and law students that will enhance the end-user experience of using resources through mobile conduits as well as provide the product and service owners opportunities to explore improvements.
Aside from studying, I am in a full-time position for a leading advertising company where I provide support to the productivity and collaborative technologies spanning our global offices. Am happily married with two boys aged 6 and 3 - who both take up a lot of great time with me to play Lego Marvel Avengers :)
