The School of Arts & Social Sciences is active in research, both nationally and internationally, and has niche areas of world-leading research including the hosting of the European Social Survey.
Our academic staff are highly regarded in their fields, with many contributing to academic and public discussions through articles, conferences, media commentary and research.
The School also advises governments, regulatory bodies and businesses through collaborations and consultancy work and engages with the sector on professional practices.
