Overview and Research Interests
Shannon is a PhD researcher and a member of the Organisational Psychology Research Group.
Her research projects include:
- Teachers' psychological well-being.
- Impact of personal resilience training on employees.
Shannon is interested in employee psychological well-being and individual differences among employees. She is the project manager on an international research project focused on school teachers’ psychological health. The project has been designed to assess teachers’ work demands and well-being on a weekly basis including working weeks and a half-term break. Shannon is also involved in a project that evaluates the impact of personal resilience training on employees. The project explores the effect of personal resilience training on teachers, nurses, and other employees.
Education
Shannon has a BA in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (2015) and an MSc in Organisational Psychology from City, University of London (2016).
