The staff are always approachable to ask questions and genuinely care about their students
Why did you decide to apply to study at City?
I was impressed by the course content and facilities, as well as liking it as a London university.
What were the most important resources in helping you to make a decision?
Both the open days and the applicant days allowed me to see what the course was about and how it would run. The lab tours were also very good, we got to see some of the equipment we would be using in the following years.
What is your favourite thing about studying at City?
How great the staff are, they are always approachable to ask questions and genuinely care about their students.
What experience have you had that will help you with future careers?
Careers fairs are always helpful when it comes to networking with industries and meeting recent graduates. We also had talks from a few companies in the first year that gave perspective on the degree course.
What is your favourite thing about living in London?
There is always something different to see!
What do you plan to do after you graduate?
I am currently considering further studies, however it is not a set plan at this point.
What would be your top tip for our applicants?
Get involved with more than just studying, the Students’ Union is a good place to start!
