Shahrbanoo Shamekhi Amiri is a PhD student at the school of Science and Technology, City, University of London. She is working with Professor AbdulNaser Sayma as her first supervisor and Dr Jafar Al-Zaili as her second supervisor. She is currently working on dynamic simulation of Micro Gas Turbines operating with solar energy. Her research interests include Concentrated solar thermal systems, Dynamic modelling of energy systems, Control strategies in gas turbine systems and Power electronics.
