Performances include:
Orlando Consort (2002, broadcast by Radio 3); London Sinfonietta (St. Luke’s, 2006); cellist Beate Altenburg and accordionist Milos Milivojevic (RAM, 2005); guitarist Johannes Möller (Deal Festival, 2006); vocal trio Juice (Deal Festival commission, 2008); pianist Matthew Schellhorn (Cambridge, 2017); and various performances in the USA, including the recent premiere of Courtship Ritual for trombone and flute (Pittsburg, Pennsylvania). In 1999, Dr Percy participated on the prestigious choreographers and composers course at Breton Hall (dir. Nigel Osborne) and, in 2006-7, on the PRS/SPNM Adopt-a-Composer scheme.
A Research Fellowship in composition followed his PhD at City University with Professor Rhian Samuel and he has been a Visiting Lecturer at City since 2007.
Dr Percy is Artistic Director of Richmond New Music Collective, which organizes concerts every year, and is currently Guest Artistic Director of Borough New Music, Series 4 2018.
