Claire is a Global Engagement Officer at City, University of London.
I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Bath. Alongside my role with the Global Engagement team, I am currently studying on the Counselling Psychology professional doctorate programme at the University of East London. My thesis explores the experiences of human trafficking survivors when receiving a type of trauma-focussed intervention called Narrative Exposure Therapy.
I have worked for a number of higher education institutions over the past few years in both a research and administrative capacity. I joined City in January 2020 on a part-time basis and provide administrative support to the Global Engagement team.
I enjoy living in London, but love to escape as much as possible too. I like to travel – by bicycle if possible, and always aim to sample as much of the local cuisine as possible!
