Biography
Anna Tremain is Research Support Officer for SASS. She previously supported all departments across the School and currently supports Departments of Sociology, International Politics and Psychology. She is the first point of contact for all researchers who need to identify funding opportunities for their research and all applicants from these departments to UKRI, AHRC, ESRC, the Leverhulme Trust, the British Academy, the Wellcome Trust and other national and international funders. In addition, Anna does pre-award costing for EU applications for these departments. She also participates in the organisation of research development events.
Anna supports post-doctoral applicants across SASS for Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowships scheme and British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Prior to joining Research and Enterprise of City, University of London, Anna worked in Brunel University London and UCL. Anna previously worked as Senior Specialist in the Russian Foundation for Basic Research in Moscow where she was managing international funding calls for research projects and workshops with such funders as the Helmholtz Association, the French National Centre for Scientific Research, the Spanish National Research Council, the European Commission (FP7 ERA.Net RUS), the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and others. She supported the organisation of RFBR-G8 call among others. Anna has extensive knowledge of international funders and the way they function.
