About
Overview
Sung Wook Paek received his B.S. degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Electric Engineering from Korea
Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 2010. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Aeronautics
and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He joined City in 2021 after
working at Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).
His research interests include space systems, sustainable space logistics, and in-space propulsion as well as energy storage/management.
