Overview
Dr Sara Chaudry is the director of the Post-Graduate Certificate in Counselling Psychology and lead of the modules Counselling Skills and Understanding Mental Health. Sara is also Year 2 Lead on the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology whereby she also facilitates specialist group supervision in CBT and supervises doctoral research. Sara is interested in qualitative research with a focus on phenomenological approaches. Her interests include experience of sense of self in relation to sexual abuse history, experiences related to gender and culture and psychological well being within the creative and performing arts.
Beyond her role in academia, Sara works extensively with adults and adolescents in a range of clinical settings including private practice, Istituto Marangoni, The Royal Ballet School and St Paul's School for Boys providing therapy for a broad range of presenting mental health and existential difficulties.
