Research Overview

Sadie's research has involved understanding patients' perceptions and expectations of their health and treatment, and evaluating health services using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods.

As Research Fellow at City Sadie led a RCT of a new patient-initiated treatment service for adults with blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm. Later Sadie worked as Public Health Analyst leading a qualitative and community engagement team and undertaking service evaluations. Sadie also advised commissioners, public health practitioners and local healthcare teams in research design, including using qualitative methods and designing mixed methods evaluations. Sadie also works in research consultancy in industry, academic, and public health settings.
