About

Overview

Professor Kessar studied mathematics at Panjab University, India graduating with a Bachelor of Sciences in 1991.

She prepared her PhD at the Ohio State university, USA, under the supervision of Prof. Ronald Solomon.

After completing her PhD in 1995, Prof. Kessar held postdoctoral positions at Yale University and the University of Minnesota, and a Junior Research fellowship at University College, Oxford followed by a tenure track position at the Ohio State University. She joined City in 2012, from the University of Aberdeen.
