About
Overview
Paul is a Senior Lecturer in Audiology who joined City, University of London in 2005. He previously worked at UCL's Ear Institute and the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital.
Paul trained as an Audiologist at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital before leaving to study physics with medical applications at Kings College London and an MSc in Audiology at UCL. He spent a number of years working as a Clinical Audiologist in a range of audio-vestibular diagnostic and rehabilitation clinics before moving to the Ear Institute at UCL as part of the teaching team and Programme Director for the MSc in Audiology. He has held a number of roles for the professional and learned societies, working on national committees, organising meetings and conferences and representing the British Academy of Audiology in accreditation of BSc and MSc courses.
At City, University of London he was instrumental in setting up the BSc in Speech and Language Science and has been Programme Director for the Postgraduate Diploma/MSc in Speech and Language Therapy, as well as Divisional Lead.
