About

Overview

Mark Haddad is currently Senior Lecturer in Health Service Research, Honorary Senior Lecturer in Mental Health, and Senior Tutor for Research at City, University of London. Prior to this, he was a Clinical Research Fellow at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London.

Mark initially trained as a general adult nurse and as a mental nurse, and maintained a clinical role in primary care mental health until 2014.

In 2002, he obtained MSc Epidemiology and was awarded a Medical Research Council Clinical Training Fellowship, which formed his PhD study. His interests include depression, primary care mental health, epidemiology, and educational evaluation. Mark is a member of the RCN Mental Health Forum national committee, and served as a member of the NICE guideline development group for depression and chronic physical illness.
