Overview
Felipe G. Santos is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Sociology of the City, University of London, working as part of the ProDem project. He obtained my Ph.D. summa cum laude from the Central European University. He is also the recipient of the Young Scholar Award 2021 of the European Sociological Association, as well as the Outstanding Dissertation Award of the Doctoral School of Political Sciences, Public Policy and International Relations of the Central European University.
Felipe is interested in how different social groups and political ideologies push for long-lasting societal changes. With this aim, his research covers social movements, political parties, and other civil organizations, spanning from the left to the far-right.
Felipe's work has appeared in numerous media outlets, including BBC World News, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, El País, and El Diario among others.
