Alison Rawlings

Overview

Alison is a Radiographer specialising in medical ultrasound and joined City University London in 2017. She is currently the Joint Interim Programme Director for the Medical Ultrasound programme, as well as module leader for Ultrasound Physics and Work Based Learning in Practice. She also teaches on the undergraduate Radiography programmes.
She previously worked as a Lead Sonographer and continues to practice as a Senior Sonographer in the NHS. She was also a clinical supervisor for many years.
Alison has a keen interest in expanding the use of educational technologies in order to increase the capacity for sonographer training and is currently undertaking an MA in Technology Enabled Academic Practice.
