Alice is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Her background is in Existential Phenomenological Psychology and therapy but she has also studied both second and third wave approaches and is interested in PostModern approaches such as Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative therapy. Clinically her preference is in tailoring the therapeutic approach to the individual and she teaches students how to work from Integrative and Pluralistic perspectives. She is also interested in non traditional ways of engaging with therapy, for example single sessions, and immersive residential retreats.
She is a passionate advocate of women’s experience and issues of social justice.
