Dr Michael Fopp has been given an Award of Doctor of Science honoris causa.
Michael has had a varied career, including roles as a member of the elite mounted branch of London's Metropolitan Police, Keeper of the Battle of Britain Museum and Director of the London Transport Museum. He was Director of the Royal Air Force Museum for 22 years.
The Right Hon. The Lord Mayor Alderman Michael Bear has been given an Award of Doctor of Science honoris causa.
Alderman Michael Bear took office as the 683rd Lord Mayor of the City of London on Friday 12 November 2010. He has held senior positions in both the construction and property industries in the UK and abroad.
Karen Middleton has been given an Award of Doctor of Science honoris causa.
Karen was appointed Chief Health Professions Officer by the Department of Health in March 2007. In this role, she is the most senior Allied Health Professions (AHPs) advisor. Prior to this, Karen was a Health Professions Officer from 2003, and has held a number of management positions in the National Health Service.
Nikolas Tsakos has been given an Award of Doctor of Science honoris causa.
Nikolas is the Founder, President and CEO of Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN) Limited, a pioneering company which is the longest established Greek shipping public listing. Nikolas comes from a traditional Chios seafaring family and has been involved in the maritime industry since 1981.
Professor David Rhind, CBE has been given an Award of Doctor of Science honoris causa.
David is a former Vice-Chancellor of City University London, retiring in 2007. He started his career as a physicist, then successively became a geographer, information scientist and computer system builder, a social scientist, and Director General of Ordnance Survey.
Daniel Finkelstein, OBE has been given an Award of Doctor of Science honoris causa for his contributions to electronic publishing.
Daniel's career is as broad in its scope as it is distinguished. It has encompassed being Editor of Connexion, Britain's first internet and data communications newspaper, directing the Social Market Foundation think tank and acting as a key advisor to the Conservative Party. Daniel currently works as the Executive Editor and Chief Leader Writer of The Times.
Lord Green has been given an Award of Doctor of Science honoris causa by City, University of London in recognition of his contribution to the financial services industry.

The honorary degree was presented by Professor Sue Procter, Deputy Dean (Education) in the School of Health Sciences at City at a recent Graduation ceremony for health sciences students held at The Barbican in London.
Terry Hill, CBE has been given the Award of Doctor of Science honoris causa for his numerous contributions to the global transport industry.
Terry is currently Chairman of the Arup Trust.
Prior to his current role, Terry was Arup Group Chairman (2004-2009), responsible for the overall strategic direction of the firm, then Chairman - Global Transport Market (2009-2011), focusing on developing the aviation, maritime, rail and highways businesses and ensuring the delivery of the best transport projects to clients throughout the world.
