2018/19 academic year

Undergraduate and Pre-Registration Students: Term Dates 2018/19

Please note that these dates are subject to review and may change.

Autumn Term: 27 August 2018-4 January 2019, with main student activity 17 September-7 December 2018

  • Holidays: 27 August-14 September
  • Student induction/ Welcome Week: 17-21 September
  • Teaching: 24 September-7 December
  • Holidays: 10 December 2018-4 January 2019

Spring Term: 7 January-3 May 2019, with main student activity 7 January-5 April 2019

  • Assessment period: 7-18 January [programmes with no assessments at this time may incorporate other learning activities, including teaching, during this period]
  • Teaching: 21 January-5 April
  • Holidays: 8 April-3 May

* Cass Undergraduate Programme run a set of specific exams prior to the start of the scheduled exam period. Please see our Cass Undergraduate pages for further detail.

Summer Term: 6 May-23 August 2019, with main student activity 6 May-31 May 2019

  • Assessment period: 6-31 May OR Teaching (and related assessments)/ Placement activity: 6 May-7 June
  • Summer Term activity (applicable to certain programmes only – students should refer to their programme handbook): 3-21 June (up to 28 June for some placement activity)
  • Holidays: 3 June-23 August for programmes with no summer term activity; 24 June-23 August for programmes with summer term activity
