About RSS Feeds

There are number of RSS Feeds published across City University London. These feeds contain news article summaries and are updated automatically when news articles are published.

You can view and subscribe to the content of our RSS feeds using modern web browsers or by installing an RSS news reader, either on the desktop or online, which allow feeds to be viewed from multiple sources.

How to use RSS with a modern web browser

  1. Click on the feed of your choice from the selection that follows.
  2. Select the "Subscribe to this feed" link that appears at the beginning of the web page.
  3. An automatically updated news feed will appear in your browsers Favorites (IE) or Bookmarks (Firefox) pane.

How to use RSS with a dedicated feed reader

Step one

Download or sign-up to a news reader service. Download FeedDemon, this is a free desktop RSS reader for Windows. Free online RSS readers include, Bloglines, Google Reader. You can also surf a list of additional RSS readers.

Step two

Click on the City RSS feed of your choice. Copy the address from your browser address bar. Use this address to view the feed using your chosen reader. Repeat until you have all of the feeds you need.

Step three

Your RSS feed reader should now automatically update with your chosen City feed.
