This residence is offered exclusively to City University London students by Liberty Living, a third party housing provider.

The hall comprises a block of purpose-built self-catering flats accommodating 295 students. The flats are in self-contained groups of three to five single study bedrooms, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. There are also four studio apartments with private bathroom and kitchenette.

Accommodation for students with mobility support needs is available. The residence is approximately ten minutes walk away from the University.

Living in Liberty Court is really convenient while you are studying. It is central to everything - the University, shops and nightlife. You don't have to worry about bills or council tax and allows you to really focus on your course."

All halls of Residence are self-catered, therefore students are responsible for their own cooking. Bedding is not provided in study bedrooms and cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are not provided.

Please note that Liberty Court is designated entirely non-smoking. This includes all buildings and external grounds.

Students who are offered accommodation at Liberty Court will sign an agreement with Liberty Living and not with City University, and will therefore be bound by Liberty Living's terms and conditions of residence.

Building works notice:

There are currently building works by Balfour Beatty in the road next to Liberty Court, Albian Place which could affect those living in rooms overlooking the site. Works are from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, and 8am-1pm on Saturdays. No work on Sundays. The exterior of the building has now been completed but interior works are still ongoing (Jan 2012).

Distances - Liberty Court is approximately 10 minutes walk from City University Northampton Square site, 15 minutes walk from Cass Business School, 15 minutes walk from Gray's Inn Place and 8 minutes walk from West Smithfield.
