Marketing and Communications
"City has recently seen an increased focus on the issue of gender equality and the launch of various new initiatives and campaigns to motivate staff across City to play their part in creating a culture of equality. A team from Marketing and Communications used International Women's Day as a platform to deliver a range of events, an effective social media campaign, a microsite and a prominent photo exhibition. Feedback on the International Women's Day campaign and events has been incredibly positive and this is thanks to the significant efforts of the team driven by a desire to do something different."

"The LGBT+ Network serves as a role model for other staff network groups and is often cited when other groups are being set up as a good example of a network in operation to be emulated. Co-chairs of the group, Jenny and Matt, have not restricted their advocacy to LGBT+ matters and have also campaigned for minority voices within City to be heard by reaching out to other groups."
