The MSc Business Systems Analysis and Design at City University London is probably the best known and most respected programme of its type in Europe. Demand continues to grow for systems analysts, with average salaries exceeding 40,000 pounds. City's programme has a unique blend of strong technology knowledge with transferable skills in consultancy and project management. The BSAD course introduced me to the core skills that employers need for the the long-term: business analysis, SQL, use-case analysis, ERP and UML. From City I was hired by Ovum, the advisory and analyst firm, which launched me into a career consulting to technology and telecoms providers.
