Finding somewhere to live

Whether you're looking for a place to live in halls of residence or private rented accommodation, we can point you in the right direction.

Getting help as an international student

We have special services to support international students, including a welcome event and advice on immigration and visa matters.

Finding your way around

Looking for the library or a particular building or service on campus? We can help.

Making payments

The Student Centre can take payments for course tuition fees, exam resit fees, graduation tickets and replacement degree certificates.

Looking after your health and wellbeing

Call in at the Health Service for comprehensive medical support, including a nurse-led daily drop-in clinic, advice on special needs or disabilities, help in registering with a doctor, and contraception and immunisation services. If something is worrying you, talk it over with one of our professionally trained counsellors.

Getting extra support for learning

Contact us if you'd like support for dyslexia or a disability, or if you need a mentor or sign language assistance. We also organise individual and small group sessions covering study skills, writing skills, time management, revision and exam skills.

Dealing with money problems

If you're having trouble with your finances, call in for a drop-in session or book an appointment with our Financial Support Adviser.

Exploring faith and prayer

Students from a diverse range of religious backgrounds find a welcome at City University London. The University provides facilities on the main campus to ensure that people of all faiths and none have the space to pray and reflect during the working day. In addition we provide information on local places of worship and sources of advice from religious leaders.

Making appeals and complaints

If you want to lodge an appeal or make a complaint about the University, get in touch with us and we will explain the process and discuss how you can get student representation.
