City students enjoy a host of venues in the West End and the local area, and many student-friendly nights with cheaper admission and discounted drinks.
Music
London has always been famous for its music scene. Many local venues - such as the O2 Academy, Highbury Garage and Buffalo Bar - give cheap entry to students on most nights and are often used by the Students' Union for end of term events.
Bars
A huge variety of different bars and pubs can be found in Angel, Islington, Clerkenwell and Shoreditch. Their diverse range means that there is something for everyone.
Restaurants
Angel, Islington, Clerkenwell and Shoreditch are the places to go to for some of the best restaurants in the UK, perhaps in the entire world. There are also plenty of low-budget and takeaway options, with food from a multitude of cultures.
