School Visits

If you are a Teacher or Careers Adviser and would like to arrange for your Year 12 and 13 students to visit City University London please get in touch.

School visits are an excellent opportunity for your students to see what a city-based university is really like. School visits usually last from one hour to half a day depending on your time restrictions.

Visit days that we offer include:

University Futures Days

Young students

If you are looking for a visit to City University London then our 'University Futures Days' could be for you. These events are designed for high achieving students (hoping to achieve AAB+) and can be tailored to suit your exact requirements.

You can choose from either a subject specific masterclass relevant to your students, or a more general 'Careers: your next five years' session to get your students thinking about their career options. This careers session is designed to explore the routes to careers via specific higher education choices.

Masterclass subjects available include Business, Journalism, Music, Engineering, Social Sciences, Computing, Law and Health Sciences.

A typical programme for the day is as follows:

10:15 - Arrival and refreshments

10:30 - 'Studying at City: courses, applications and expectations'

11:15 - Campus tour with current students

12:00 - Subject Masterclass

13:00 - Lunch in student refectory

13:30 - Q&A with current students

14:00 - Finish

These days are for groups of Year 12 or 13 students and a maximum size of 30.
