Live

LearnIn these challenging times, developing your personal resilience can help you improve your performance and succeed with your chosen learning or work goals.

Here are some ways of improving resilience.

Get Fit

Improve your energy levels by getting active. City's Sports and Leisure Service offers a chance to get involved in a wide range of sports. The Campus activity programme offers a large number of classes to make it easy to stay in shape as well as network with fellow students.

Stay Healthy

City's Student Health Service is a nurse-led service available to all students . We offer essential immunisations to help you stay healthy. Read the Essential Health information for students guide

Have fun

For students at City we've got a vast array of activities and support services to help you get the most out of your time with us. The Students' Union is the umbrella service for many of them. Run by students for students, it offers socialising opportunities via clubs and societies; advice and information resources; sports clubs; representation of your views to City.

Get Help

The Student Centre - your point of contact for information about everything to do with student life: housing, finances, health, faith, payment of fees, international student support, student hardship fund and much more

If something is troubling you, don't bottle it up, speak to a friend, family or a professional

The Student Counselling Service is available to support students who need to talk about difficulties they may experiencing with study or in their personal life

Reflect

We also offer a multifaith Chaplaincy Service that welcomes people from all faiths and also those who don't have a faith.

Go Green

Thinking about the others and the environment can be good for your mental health.

With bike sheds and on-campus showers available as part of our Green Travel Plan, it makes sense to choose the eco option to get to and from campus. Staff can also volunteer their time to become environmental champions as part of The Point campaign. Read more about our green activities.
