How to apply to City University London through Adjustment
In 2009, a new scheme has been launched by UCAS where applicants who have met or exceeded their Conditional Firm offer are able to approach other universities.
This page shows applicants how they can apply to City University London through Adjustment.
If you believe that you have met or exceeded the conditions of your Conditional Firm offer then you are eligible to register for Adjustment, and this can be done through UCAS. You can find further information regarding registering through UCAS here.

Once you have registered with UCAS, you have 120 hours (5 days) in which to try and secure a place. If you are unsuccessful in finding a place at another university or change your mind about Adjustment, do not worry - your original Unconditional Firm place is safe.
How to apply to City University London
Adjustment enquiries at City University London will be handled by our Clearing Centre.
All Clearing vacancies displayed on our course vacancies are also available to Adjustment applicants, at the same grades as displayed. Unfortunately, courses that you may have been interested in may already be full, and not all courses have to hold Adjustment vacancies.
If you have found a course that you are interested in, the next step is to contact our Clearing Centre. When you speak to one of our staff, please let them know that your enquiry is related to the Adjustment Period. If you meet our entry requirements, you'll then be transferred to a member of our Academic staff, who will discuss your application further.
If you are offered a place, and you wish to accept it, a member of the Central Admissions Office will contact you by email to ask you to confirm your place. Once you have confirmed your place back to us in writing, we will then formally confirm your place with UCAS. Once that has happened, you will then become Unconditional Firm with City University London and Unconditional Decline with your previous Unconditional Firm institution. Your UCAS Track account will be updated to show your new Unconditional Firm offer.
Please note that if you have not met or exceeded the conditions of your original Conditional Firm offer, we will not be able to accept your application. City University London will check each Application acceptance to ensure that we, and the applicant, are complying with UCAS regulations and that the original conditions have been met or exceeded.
