City University London has teamed up with The WOW! Awards to enable customers to recognise and reward great service when they receive it from the staff working in the Student Centre, the Career and Skills Development Service and the Student Development and Outreach team at Northampton Square.

What are The WOW! Awards?
City University encourages all employees to provide excellent levels of customer service to everyone that they come into contact with, so if a member of staff who works in one of the teams mentioned above has "wowed" you today by impressing you with great service when dealing with your enquiry, then why not nominate them for a WOW! Award?
The WOW! Awards is the UK's only national award scheme which relies purely on customer nominations when recognising good service provided by an individual. This unique and exciting award programme really helps organisations to give even better customer service by "catching people doing things right".
When you, our customers, want to say "thank you" the WOW! Awards provides a quick and easy way for you to compliment great service, and we'll make sure your nominee sees your feedback and knows what a star they are.
How to make a nomination
Before you nominate a staff member for a WOW! Award there are just 4 criteria which must be met:-
- The nomination has to be about something that makes people go "wow!" because it is an example of great customer service.
- The nomination needs to be about something that happened recently, not something which took place a long time ago.
- It must be about a genuine customer service experience - something that has happened to you personally and which has impressed you.
- You cannot nominate a staff member for an award if you have personal involvement with them (i.e. if they are a member of your family, or a close personal friend, for instance).
To nominate a member of staff for a WOW! Award, please click on the link at the bottom of this page to access the online nomination form. The information you provide will be used only for the purposes of assessing nominations, and not for any other purpose.
Once you have completed the form, please click the "Submit Nomination" button and you will then be sent an email confirming that your nomination has been made.
Nominations are judged by the WOW! Awards on a monthly basis and those people, who in the opinion of the judges, have provided service excellence which shows they go the extra mile, are rewarded with a personalised certificate and are given the chance to enter the national awards which take place annually in London.
