The Venue - Ten²

Named after its address, 10 Northampton Square, the new Students' Union venue, Ten², is a multi functional social space designed to cater for the needs of today's students.

During the day it is a place to meet friends, eat, chat, surf the internet, discuss groupwork or relax between lectures. In the evening, the venue changes to become a vibrant social space hosting a wide range of student events.

From simply watching televised sport in high definition to hosting club nights, fashion shows, quizzes and birthday parties, our aim is to make Ten² your social home.

During the day

Ten² is the perfect place to take a break and meet your friends before, between and after lectures.

The menu we offer reflects the diverse mix of City University, with healthy options and Fair Trade products.

Drinks: Freshly brewed coffee, herbal teas, fruit and vegetable juices and fruit smoothies.

Food: Hot breakfasts, muffins, fruit and fruit salads, pastries, deli sandwiches, soups, hot meals, sharing platters, snacks and nibbles.

Running your own events

In addition to running big events on your behalf, the Ten² Events Team is here to support you and can help you to organise student led activities. We can help you to put together an event for your course, society or club or you may wish to just book a table for a birthday party or other special occasion. Click here for further infomation.
