Entertainments and Events

We know that being at University is not just about getting an education, it is also about having a good time.

This is where your Students' Union is here to help.

We aim to offer a range of activities to make sure you can have a lot of fun while you are at City.

The events team in the Students' Union runs a varied programme of parties, events and social activities over the course of the academic year. Some events are run on an annual basis (such as Freshers’ Fortnight, Freshers’ Fayre and parties at Halloween, Christmas and the end of term) while others are developed in the light of student suggestions and feedback.

The events team also works with student clubs and societies to help them in running
their own events efficiently.

Running your own events

In addition to running big events on your behalf, the Ten² Events Team is here to support you and can help you to organise student led activities. We can help you to put together an event for your course, society or club or you may wish to just book a table for a birthday party or other special occasion.

Ten² staff are highly student focused and want to help you to make the most of your time at City University. We look forward to meeting you and helping you to feel at home.
