Private Housing

Information about renting property in the private sector

City University has linked up with Studentpad.co.uk to provide an interactive web-based facility for private sector rented accommodation.

The site contains information available on a range of properties from single rooms and bedsits through to larger flats and houses, and also has useful guidance information on renting property in the private sector.  This information is for all students or new entrants to City University or an affiliated college.  Please be aware, however, that we would strongly recommend that you come to London and visit the Student Centre to make use of our resources.  Not only is the turnover of property in London very high, but most Landlords prefer to meet you in person before granting a tenancy.

Private Housing Listings

The Accommodation Team have compiled the lists below as a source of information about alternative accommodation in the private sector in London.   This information has been of use to other students in the past, but the properties are not vetted by City University London and information included here does not constitute a recommendation by the University.
